Meanwhile, Mississippi State has lost two of three and barely escaped against Auburn in Week 10. They're undefeated at home in 2022, and the team is 3-1-1 against the spread in those five games.

They've participated in just two true road games this season, very nearly losing one.

Mississippi State’s three defeats have been double-digit losses on the road. Those setbacks came against strong teams in LSU, Kentucky, and Alabama. Mississippi State has earned 20-point wins in nearly all of the squad's home games, with the exception of the Week 10 collapse against Auburn.
