It was a solid month for our best sports betting sites in the Keystone State.

Our best Pennsylvania sports betting operators reported a successful November, setting new records for both handle and revenue. New from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board shows that the state’s online and retail operators collected $77.1 million in revenue, with bettors wagering over $935.5 million during the month.

The handle figure narrowly surpassed the previous record of $934.1 million set in the same month last year, increasing by 0.15% year-over-year. However, revenue saw a much more significant increase. This year’s total marks a 498% jump from the $12.9 million collected last November.

Which sportsbooks contributed to the year-on-year growth?

Thirteen sports betting operators and Pennsylvania sports betting apps reported higher revenues compared year-over-year, and those that didn’t made little impact on the overall figures.

Among the few reporting declines were Wind Creek Bethlehem, Live! Casino Pittsburgh, Mount Airy Casino Resort, and Parx Shippensburg. They're all smaller operators that contribute less than $200,000 to the monthly revenues.

The operator reporting the largest change was Hollywood Casino Morgantown, which operates the ESPN BET Sportsbook. Meanwhile, Valley Forge Casino Resort made the most significant contribution to the monthly revenue total, collecting around 48%, or $36.8 million. Valley Forge operates PA’s FanDuel Sportsbook, both in-person and online.

PA also has one less sports betting operator this November after the South Philly Race & Sportsbook shut its doors in August 2024.

Strong November for US sportsbooks

Pennsylvania was not the only state reporting record-breaking sports betting figures this November. It joins the Indiana sports betting market, which collected a record-breaking $614 million handle and $69 million in revenue. The Kansas sports betting market also reported new all-time highs of $25 million in revenue from a $291 million handle.

November is a busy month for US sporting events, giving bettors plenty of choice when it comes to betting. NFL, NBA, and NHL games contribute to the surge in activity across our best sportsbooks nationwide.
