Access to our best sports betting sites is in the near future for residents of Missouri, but riverboat casinos rule the scene for now.

A published by the Missouri Gaming Commission reveals that the state’s thirteen riverboat casinos combined for more than $153 million in revenue in November 2024. That figure marks a 4% increase compared to the same month last year and a 1.4% uptick from October.

The total brings year-to-date revenue above $773.6 million, which is around 1% lower than at the same point last year. From July to November 2023, the casinos generated $781.1 million.

Admissions to the casinos remained pretty stable in November compared to the previous year. Last November, 2,250,275 individuals entered, compared to a slightly higher 2,253,875 in November 2024. Year-to-date, total admissions are down around 3%.

Which casinos contributed the most?

Century Casino & Hotel Caruthersville saw a 47% revenue jump to around $5.3 million, while Century Casino & Hotel Cape Girardeau also reported a strong 19% increase. Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City reported the third-largest increase, 11%, up to $16.3 million.

However, Ameristar Casino in St. Charles generated the highest monthly revenue, $23.1 million. River City Casino came in second with $20.9 million, followed by Hollywood Casino St. Louis, which collected $19.4 million.

Bally’s Casino Kansas City saw the most significant drop in revenue of 11%, down from $11.6 million to $10.3 million. Mark Twain Casino, Horseshoe St. Louis, and Hollywood Casino St. Louis were the other three reporting a drop compared to last November.
