One of our best sports betting sites has an exciting promo just in time for the holiday season.
Starting on December 19, FanDuel is offering its customers three months of access to its direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming service, FanDuel Sports Network. A company the promotion will run until January 20. The sportsbook announced the promotion to celebrate its recent partnership with Diamond Sports Group.
Through its agreement with FanDuel, Diamond Sports Group has rebranded its 16 regional sports networks (RSNs) as FanDuel Sports Network. The network covers 13 NBA, eight NHL, and seven MLB teams across the US and provides coverage of live games, coverage before and after games, and other award-winning programming. You can use other FanDuel promos without needing a FanDuel promo code.
The following networks are now under the FanDuel Sports Network brand:
- FanDuel Sports Network Detroit
- FanDuel Sports Network Florida
- FanDuel Sports Network Great Lakes
- FanDuel Sports Network Kansas City
- FanDuel Sports Network Indiana
- FanDuel Sports Network Midwest
- FanDuel Sports Network North
- FanDuel Sports Network Ohio
- FanDuel Sports Network Oklahoma
- FanDuel Sports Network SoCal
- FanDuel Sports Network South
- FanDuel Sports Network Southeast
- FanDuel Sports Network Southwest
- FanDuel Sports Network Sun
- FanDuel Sports Network West
- FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin
FanDuel customers can claim the promotion by opting into the offer and placing a $5 bet on FanDuel Sportsbook or any Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) contest supported by FanDuel. The operator will then email customers a promo code to start a trial subscription, which will begin billing at the standard rates once the trial is complete.
This promotion is only available to FanDuel customers registering with the site for the first time and in states where a FanDuel Sports Network broadcast is available.
What is FanDuel adding to FanDuel Sports Network?
FanDuel isn’t just taking Diamond Sports Group’s existing broadcasts but is also adding its own productions. The company will add “Up & Adams” from FanDuel TV to its programming across all its new RSNs. The show will broadcast at 11 am ET.
Additionally, the company will add another FanDuel TV production, “Run It Back,” hosted by Michelle Beadle. The show features former NBA players Lou Williams and Chandler Parsons. The daily NBA show will become available for FanDuel Sports Network subscribers in January 2025.
In the press release announcing the new promotion, FanDuel highlighted it intends to introduce “additional partnership elements and collaborations… in the coming months.”
FanDuel’s past experience with broadcast rewards
While FanDuel has never given players access to RSNs, it’s not the first time the sportsbook has included the chance to consume extra media as part of a welcome bonus. In fact, FanDuel has made a specialty out of this type of offer.
FanDuel brought back its NBA League Pass promotion for most of October, allowing bettors to register and place a $5 bet to get three months’ access to the NBA League Pass. This was the third year running FanDuel supported this particular offer.
A few months earlier, FanDuel offered an NFL Sunday Ticket promo. Bettors could claim the perk by betting $5, along with the typical bonus bets FanDuel provides new customers.
Mike Raffensperger, president of sports at FanDuel, said, “As we continue to raise the bar with new product features that allow fans to engage with the NFL in new ways, we’re also thrilled to again partner with YouTube to offer an NFL Sunday Ticket free trial to our customers, providing an NFL betting experience only available with FanDuel.”
